Some listings may have been created from existing information about organisations and practitioners working across building conservation, traditional crafts, heritage services and related fields. Once claimed, you can correct outdated information, develop your profile and keep it current.
Claiming an existing listing is free. You do not need to purchase a paid membership simply to establish your authority to manage it.

A claimed profile gives you responsibility for presenting clear, useful and up-to-date information about your work.
Correct contact details, descriptions, services, geographical coverage and other information that may have changed.
Explain your conservation expertise, project experience, specialist services and relevant professional credentials more fully.
Help building owners, project teams and organisations understand what you do and whether your expertise may be relevant to their needs.
FOUR SIMPLE STEPS
Find the existing profile, identify yourself and confirm that you are authorised to manage it.
STEP 01
Search ConserveConnect for your business, practice or organisation and open the relevant listing.
STEP 02
If the listing is available to claim, use the claim option shown on the profile to begin.
STEP 03
A ConserveConnect account is required before an existing listing can be assigned to you. Registration is free.
STEP 04
Tell us your role and relationship with the organisation. Once approved, the listing can be associated with your account.
ConserveConnect may carry out proportionate checks before transferring management of an existing listing. This can include confirmation from an organisational email address, publicly available professional information, an existing website or other reasonable evidence of authority.
AFTER YOUR CLAIM IS APPROVED
Check the existing listing carefully. A useful ConserveConnect profile should tell people clearly who you are, what you do and the kinds of conservation work for which your expertise is relevant.
You do not need to purchase a paid membership simply to establish your authority over an existing profile.

AN IMPORTANT DISTINCTION
Approving a claim means that ConserveConnect is reasonably satisfied that the claimant is authorised to manage the listing. It does not mean that ConserveConnect has independently assessed professional competence, qualifications, work quality or suitability for a project.
ConserveConnect’s separate vetting and recognition process is evidence-based and independent of Basic, Standard or Premium membership. Recognition badges cannot be purchased.

If you cannot complete a claim, or believe information needs to be corrected or removed beforehand, please contact ConserveConnect and identify the relevant listing.
