About

Weldon Contracts Ltd, commonly known as Weldon, is a distinguished UK-based company specializing in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of the finest hardwood flooring. Founded in 1992 by Jasper Weldon, the company has grown to become a leader in the European flooring industry, driven by a passion for innovation, design, and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence. Weldon employs over 50 highly skilled designers, craftsmen, and women who produce and restore hardwood flooring for some of the world's most prestigious buildings.

Weldon's mission centers on delivering truly bespoke flooring solutions that meet each client's unique vision. Whether clients desire complex, unique marquetry or simple, elegant boards, Weldon collaborates closely with them to bring their ideas to life. The company's commitment to thoughtful, skilled craftsmanship ensures that every floor is remarkable for its beauty and quality.

Sustainability is at the heart of Weldon's operations. The company oversees the entire manufacturing process, from forest to floor, guaranteeing the sustainability of its products. Weldon demands the highest environmental credentials from its timber suppliers, sourcing new timber from well-managed forests and salvaging and reusing old timber where possible. Additionally, Weldon has planted over 3,000 trees in the past decade, aiming to plant and grow more wood than it uses.

Weldon's exceptional craftsmanship has been recognized through the granting of Royal Warrants as Suppliers of Hardwood Flooring to HM The Queen and HRH The Prince of Wales. Their fine marquetry, parquetry, antique, and boarded floors are defining features of Royal Palaces, historic buildings, and elegant private residences worldwide.
